Family Pools at Polynesian Spa – Splash, Relax, and Reconnect
Bring the whole family together at Polynesian Spa’s Family Pools! Perfect for all ages, this area features a large freshwater swimming pool with a shallow section for younger kids, a deeper area for older kids, and a small hydro slide for extra fun. Parents and caregivers can also unwind in two soothing Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools, heated to 37°C and 40°C.
For your peace of mind, lifeguards are always on duty, and our pools are designed to create a safe and enjoyable environment. Babies under 5 enjoy free entry, and swim nappies are available to purchase onsite. Towels and swimwear can also be hired or purchased at the Spa Essentials Shop, so you can travel light.
Tickets are valid for the selected date. Please be aware that during busy periods, there may be a 30–60 minute wait to enter the pools as we adhere to maximum capacity limits for everyone's safety. While you wait, we welcome you to unwind at our on-site 88RA Café, where you can enjoy gelato, meals, fresh juices, smoothies, and a variety of treats.Please note that pre-booking does not guarantee immediate entry during peak times, as capacity limits may result in delays.

Family wellbeing
Holiday time for the family so pop into have a soothing bath and spend time with the family. Felt alive after the bath. I recommend that everyone come in to experience the healing powers of the hot pools, awesome

Reasonable price
It was so and so maybe because we just tried the family pools. Which is chaotic since we have kids and other kids. But if we should have tried the deluxe and pavilion ones maybe we will give a better rating. There is a waiting time of 45mins to be able to enter the family room. I just hope they make a time limit for 2 hours just so booking time be followed. But water is great and hot.

There’s no time limit for entry, so families can enjoy their visit at their own pace. We’re glad you enjoyed the mineral waters and hope you might try the Deluxe Lake Spa or Pavilion Pools next time for a quieter experience.

Disappointing
We felt the place needed a really good clean and an update. There was hair everywhere and the showers were communal. Be aware, the kids slide is in a very shallow pool. My daughter hit her feet so hard on the bottom of the pool when landing, she couldn't walk properly for a week due to the pain. We felt the prices were also very expensive for what it they offered.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your visit did not meet expectations. We have followed up with our Pools Operations Manager regarding your daughter’s experience on the slide. No incident or injury was reported to our lifeguard team on the day, and nothing was observed that resulted in an incident report being raised. There was also nothing reported to the duty manager that we could refer to. Unfortunately, CCTV footage from the date of your visit is no longer available for us to review further. The children’s slide does exit into a shallow section of the Family Pools, and signage displaying pool depths is positioned around the area. We are concerned to hear your daughter experienced ongoing pain following her visit and hope she has fully recovered. We have also passed your comments regarding cleanliness and the changing facilities to the team. Maintaining these areas throughout busy periods is important, and this feedback will be reviewed with our operations team. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

Fantastic customer service
Unfortunately, the family pools were closed for our visit. However, the front desk team had accommodated us with an upgrade to the deluxe lake spa area. Notwithstanding the upgrade, the staff on site were welcoming and lovely. The place is well kept despite the age and the change rooms are fully equipped and kept tidy & clean
