Embark on an extraordinary journey through the magnificent Kiwi Park, a 5-acre oasis in the bustling heart of Queenstown.
A family-owned and operated wildlife centre in the heart of Queenstown, dedicated to saving our endangered wildlife species. We have over 20 species of native wildlife, including New Zealandâs national icon, the Kiwi and our living fossil, the Tuatara.
The Kiwi Park is set in beautifully landscaped native bush and is the perfect place for a relaxed break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Queenstown.
By visiting Kiwi Park you are directly supporting our conservation efforts!
Chill out in our cafe and browse our gift shop, where a portion of proceeds go towards our conservation work.
Kiwi Encounter
Enjoy an unforgettable experience viewing Kiwi while learning about these fascinating birds from our professional wildlife team. Our specially designed nocturnal Kiwi House will provide you with the best Kiwi viewing in the country.
Times:
10am, 11am, 12:15pm, 1pm, 2:15pm, 3pm, 4:15 pm & 5pm (Oct- April)
10 am, 11 am, 12.15pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3.45pm & 4.30 pm (May-Sep)
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before Kiwi Encounter, subject to availability.
Maximum occupancy in Kiwi House 60 people.
Kiwi House open at all times outside Kiwi Encounters for viewing.
Conservation Show
Get up close and personal with our most fascinating, endangered wildlife in this entertaining 30-minute free flight show.

Ein sehr schön und liebevoll angelegter Park mit engagierten unserer freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Tolle Vögel, sehr gute Kiwi FĂŒhrung. Es ist das Geld wert.

Visiting the kiwi
Wir haben die Möglichkeit genutzt um uns Kiwis anzusehen. Der Park ist gut orgsnisiert und sehr lehrreich. Eine gute Möglichkeit zwischen den Attraktionen mal runter zu kommen.

Sehr informativ und nett gestaltet.
Das early Bird Ticket ist was fĂŒr FrĂŒhaufsteher. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte noch etwas Zeit zur Parkplatzsuche einkalkulieren. Das Parkhaus in der NĂ€he ist abnormal teuer (6$/h). Es gibt aber gĂŒnstige Alternativen im Umkreis. Der Park ist mit Liebe gestaltet und die Vögel sind nicht einfach Teil einer Ausstellung sondern sollen ausgewildert werden. Viele Infos per Self Guide/ Audioguide. Auch ĂŒber die Umgebung und Flora.

wenig Tiere - zu teuer
Der Park ist schön angelegt, aber sehr klein und es gibt ganz wenig Tiere, einige Gehege waren ganz leer. Um die 4 Kiwiâs im Kiwihaus zu sehen, ein recht teurer Preis. Hier ist der Zugang nur zu bestimmten Zeiten in Gruppen.
